SHAKESPEARE

William Shakespeare (1564-1616) was an English playwright and poet.
He is considered to be the greatest dramatist the world has ever known and the finest poet who has written in the English language.
7th grade students will research the Globe Theater and create a project that reflects the days of Shakespeare and the Globe Theater.
Students will write first person accounts as if they had just attended a performance at the Globe,
design Playbills to tell of a new show at the theatre, create visual displays of their research on the Globe,
or construct detailed replicas of the building as it existed when Shakespeare was alive.

See examples of Globe Theater models built by students in the past.
