It was moving day for 275 pupils from Paoli and Strafford Elementary Schools on Friday, February 7. The children packed their books and bid their classmates goodbye. They were transported to the New Valley Forge School to visit their classrooms and meet their new teachers.

Miss Patricia Sobeck, teacher, and her entire first grade moved to Valley Forge.
Twenty minutes after the youngsters boarded the bus they were greeted by John V. Reilly, former 6th grade teacher at Paoli School now Principal of Valley Forge. School officially started on Monday.
