Foreign Language in the Elementary Schools

One Little, Two Little, Three Little Bears
The students will review numbers from 1-10. They will do a variety of activities including counting bears (paper or miniature stuffed ones). They will also learn a song called, "Uno, Dos, y Tres Ositos".

Rap With the Numbers!
The students will practice the numbers from 1- 30 in Spanish using a variety of activities including a calendar and a popular counting song that the students enjoy.

Slam Dunk Basketball Math!
Students will review their numbers from 1-30 by doing a number of math problems in Spanish. (Presented on round cards that look like basketballs) This lesson may be adapted for older or more experienced students by using larger numbers or by using more difficult operations such as subtraction, multiplication or division.
